Illegal Immigrants – Should They Be Allowed Entry to the US?

Sponsored links

Illegal immigrants have to hide from the law simply because they are illegal and they had broken the law. No matter how hardworking they are, still illegals are illegals. They are trying to have the best life they can, they made a choice to move from their native lands and hide away in the US with the thought that they have to live under better conditions. Hence, they took risks to get away from poverty. They may have the American work ethic but illegal immigration is against the law.

“We are not criminals” and “We want to stay” these were the claims of these illegal immigrants while they were having protests on the streets. They sang their national anthems and waved their national flags. Didn’t they think that this is an insult to a country you would like to fit in? It would be best if they renounce their old citizenship and embrace America if they wish to have a green card.

As a native of your own land, you have two responsibilities with regards to immigration policy. First, you must support your host nation and secondly you must prevent those illlegals that could be a threat to your country.

No matter what these illegal immigrants do, they will always remain illegal. Illegal immigrants is a burden for the US being one of the wealthiest nation in the world. Why? Illegals traveled hundreds miles away from their country to sneak and work in the US just to be paid under the table with no tax. As a result, jobs that are meant for you will be given to them because they are lesser paid; employers would choose to pay lower so they would choose to hire these illegals instead. They use your school, the medical benefits that are supposed to be yours aside from taking your job. Therefore, wages would decline because someone else would do the job with a lesser pay.

We have our own countries to live in, and each has their own laws that are made to protect the nation and its people. So why not, just stay in your own country and try to improve it. What if these immigrants are granted the citizenship, there will always be another batch that will ask for the same benefit. What will happen then to America’s natives if immigrants will be prioritized?

Stephanie …. hopefully when you say you are “an american citizen that comes form two immigrants” you are referring to two LEGAL immigrants. Almost no one is against LEGAL immigration. WHY is it that the majority of ILLEGAL immigrants are from Mexico or South America? WHY is it these people can come up with thousands of dollars to pay for someone to get them across the U.S. border, not to mention risking their lives, but they cannot or will not pay less money (or even the same amount) to apply to enter LEGALLY? WHY? We are not against LEGAL immigration …. no matter where you are from !! WHY are ILLEGAL immigrants acting as if it is okay to BREAK THE LAW by entering ILLEGALLY then act as if the people who want the LAWS ENFORCED are the ones in the wrong? WHY?
